London-based costume designer Kathryn Poon grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the UK in 2008, where she studied at the London College of Fashion and graduated with a degree in Costume Design for Performance.
She established herself in the industry as a costume standby, working on set and looking after costume continuity on popular shows such as Small Axe by Steve McQueen and Quiz by Stephen Frears. She then moved into costume buying and design assisting, working on productions such as BBC’s Killing Eve and Netflix’s You.
Her most recent design work includes critically acclaimed short films such as The Second Time Around and Scope.
